Beginning the Journey

The command to love and bless all the nations of the earth is given to the entire Body of Christ. That means all believers, including you, have a special role to play.

However, most believers don’t know what their niche is. In this situation, everyone loses. At Central, we want to tackle this problem head on. We are serious about developing a globally aware and globally minded church.

In short, we want to help you and others discover your global role. Whether that is sending, mobilizing, encouraging, reaching out to internationals here in the Valley, serving on a team, or possibly even moving overseas, there are many opportunities for you to make a global impact both here and abroad.

So, we invite you to begin the journey. Global Outreach has worked hard to create easy-to-do, yet spiritually challenging steps. After completing one step, there is no obligation to go to the next one. But for many people, and maybe even you, you’ll find your sweet spot in ministry. To begin your journey, we recommend:

Global Connection Trips
These trips are a great first step. Our short-term, overseas trips, combined with quality pre-trip training offer a great opportunity for you to get your feet wet. The motto of our trips is, “Short-Term Trip. Lifetime Impact” and we mean it. And please, don’t feel that you need to be qualified or ready for the experience; we are looking for those who are willing. We’ll help you prepare for an adventure you’ll never forget. PathWays
Following the life-altering experience of a Global Connection Trip, we encourage you to join hundreds of others at Central who have taken the eye-opening PathWays course. After this enlightening course, you will not look at God, the Bible, history, or world news the same. But stay on top of this, because it is only offered once a year. After these two powerful steps, you will have engaged your heart and your mind on the journey. You will have the global exposure and global experience to discover the global niche that God has designed you for. From there, tap into your passion as you make a global impact from home or prepare for possible impact abroad. Either way, we’ll help you continue forward as you find your special niche in seeing the nations come to love Jesus.
